0 GO SMS Comes To iPhone With Themes, Emoji & Quick Reply Pop-Ups

GO SMS is among the most popular SMS apps for Android, and has successfully turned many people away from the stock messaging app in Android devices. The app offers everything you could ever want in a messaging app, and its integration with GO Messenger is the icing on the cake. Due to Apple’s strict App Store policies, the GO Dev Team hasn’t been able to bring their famous SMS client to the iOS Store, but that’s where Cydia comes into play. The official GO SMS client for iOS has just been released in the Cydia store, and you can start using it on your iPhone right now if you happen to be running iOS 4. We know that most of you have upgraded to iOS 5 and won’t be able to use the app, but GO SMS for iPhone gives the impression of being in a really early phase of development, and we might see major improvements (and the addition of iOS 5 support) in the app in the near future. However, the app is fully functional even now, and has the full potential of becoming a complete replacement for the stock Messaging app for iOS 4 users.

0 Permissions: Manage & Control The Privacy Of Your Facebook, Twitter & Other Accounts

A lot of people might not be aware of the fact that they have allowed a lot of apps to post to their Facebook account on their behalf, or to access their personal data from Twitter, Instagram or Windows Live. A majority of iOS apps that have got some social aspect, need users to link these services to the app, and it is only natural to lose track of all the services that are allowed to access your personal accounts. Of course, there are menus for revoking and managing these permissions in all services (like the Apps section in Facebook’s Account Settings), but most users don’t want to go to each account separately and then go through the long list of all the apps added there so that the useless ones can be culled. Permissions is an iPhone app to cleanse all your personal accounts including Yahoo, Hotmail, Facebook, Twitter, etc. The app provides a streamlined way of removing apps from all these accounts, and you can even use it to define new account privacy permissions.

0 WebSnap: Capture Selective Or Full Websites & View Them In A Live Widget [Android]

With the previously reviewed SnowDeer Web Scrapper, we have already seen how to effectively capture snapshots of an entire webpage on Android. Though quite helpful in its own respect, said tool was effective only in situations that demanded grabbing snapshots of the complete page. What if you were to capture a specific area or elements of the required website? New to the Play Store, WebSnap is a promising Android app that makes capturing select parts of any webpage as easy as one-two-three. Just like SnowDeer, WebSnap comes with a built-in browser that you can use to explore and capture virtually any part of the required website. It also supports UA String selection to help you quickly switch between mobile and desktop layout of the current website. In addition, it provides easy-to-use navigation controls, supports pinch-to-zoom gestures, and lets you natively manage, preview and share your snapshots. All aforementioned features aside, the mainstay of WebSnap remains its nifty little dynamic homescreen widget that not only sports the captured view of your preferred website, but can also be set to automatically update as per user-defined intervals.

0 Create Short Movies Out Of Music, Photos & Videos On Your iPhone

You can apply a number of artistic effects to any ptch, and the media used to create it can be pulled from any of your social network accounts or the camera roll of your iDevice. In addition to having a sharing network of its own, the Ptch app lets users publish content to Facebook, Twitter, Viddy and a number of other similar services. Apart from that, if a shared ptch is public, users can re-share it after making changes of their own, too.
